About Aster Preschool

Aster Preschool is a place that is committed to bringing the highest quality of early childhood education for your children. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum and eco-friendly learning centre will help to set your child on a positive path and cultivate social responsibility. We focus on hands-on activities through learning centres based on a curriculum (International Early Years Curriculum) designed to prepare children for the next step in the learning phase.

Our Vision

Aster Preschool strives for excellence in promoting positive growth in the lives of all children by engaging them with meaningful activities to become confident communicators and independent thinkers. We value the different gifts that each child brings to our community. We also embrace all children from cultures around the world and aim to be recognised as one of the most inspirational and nurturing educational establishments in the country.

Our Services

Nursery for 4 years old

At this stage, your child will be able to speak a sentence of more than 5 words, count ten or more objects and correctly name at least 4 colours. A unique curriculum tailored to every child’s need, The International Early Years Curriculum supports the key areas of learning through holistic enquiry and play-based approaches that cover all curriculum areas including personal, social and emotional development.

Reception for 5 years old

Children at age 5 are just beginning to think logically and understand abstract ideas. Because of this, your child is likely to seek active, hands-on opportunities to test his new ideas and thinking skills. They will be able to grasp the concept of rules and time, speak fluently and understand complex instructions. We do activities that provide learning experiences to engage, motivate and interest children – capturing their curiosity!

Year 1 for 6 years old

By the age of 6, children should have the confidence to communicate with people in a variety of social settings and developed the ability to provide stories, descriptions or explanations relating to a specific picture or illustration. They may begin to read on their own too. Social relationships with peers and adults become more complex and take on more meaning at this age, as they become more aware of the world around them and their role in it. Our curriculum is the perfect tool for the transition phase, forging a seamless link between early and formal education.
